LHS Booster Reps – What does it mean to be a football booster?

Each class is to have equal representation, with the number of reps per class to be set by the football boosters.  In the past, there has been one rep – six reps for each class. It is necessary for current reps to recruit additional reps as needed and to fill the freshman class needs.  It is beneficial to include equal representation from each of the feeder middle schools to LHS.

There is to be one voting rep per class. As a voting rep, you have committed to being the head of football boosters when your son is a senior, and also to being your class representative in attending and voting at the monthly LHS booster meetings.  All other football booster reps are encouraged to come to LHS booster meetings to take part in the discussions as necessary and stay informed of what is happening at LHS.  All football reps have committed to attending meetings, helping with planning/executing football activities, fundraising, and taking an active role in all designated football duties.

The voting reps for each class will be the executive committee each season.  They will work together to ensure all football booster responsibilities are being handled appropriately.  This method will be followed to prepare the future leaders of football boosters, and to create continuity in the football program from one year to the next.  It will also enable Coach Beavers and his staff to become familiar with, and have continuity in relationships with football booster leaders of the present and future years.
