Jared Fredenburg

Jared Fredenburg began heading up the Lincoln Patriots’ Football program in January 2017.  His high school football coaching career began at Roosevelt High School in 2002 where he was part of the 2006, 2007 and 2011 Rough Rider State Championship teams.  During his time at Roosevelt, he was named Assistant Coach of the Year for the Sioux Falls School District in 2011 and 2015 as well as the South Dakota High School Football Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year in 2014.

His background also includes defensive coaching positions with the Indoor Football League’s Sioux Falls Storm from 2015- 2018 and he has been actively engaged in developing young athletes through the Riggs Premier Football Academy.

A multi-sport athlete throughout high school, Coach Fredenburg played football at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND.

He lives in Sioux Falls with his wife, Stacie, and their three children, Rachel, Kyle and Trevor.

Education: Bachelors in chemistry from University of Sioux Falls, Masters in educational leadership from Southwest State University

Teaching Position: Starting 20th year of teaching Accelerated and AP chemistry at LHS

Coaching experience:  Beginning 19th year of coaching Football for the Patriots.  First 16 years was the head sophomore coach and the past 2 years as head freshman coach.  Also the head Track and Field.
